Go with God
Activities marked with an asterisk next to the activity title are in addition to the resources in the Ready to go sessions. Suggested timings for these activities are also shown. NB The inclusion of additional activities varies from week to week.
FOR CHILDREN
- Sing the hymn ‘We are marching in the light of God’
- Ask the children to think of ways we can live in the light of God’s love, e.g. praying, serving, singing. Sing the song again, replacing the word ‘marching’ with the children’s suggestions.

Sing
To the tune: Twinkle, twinkle, little star
Farewell friends, as we depart,
keep these stories in our hearts.
Through these days of Lent we know,
that our faith in God may grow.
Through temptations in our days,
be like Jesus through our ways.
FOR YOUNG PEOPLE
Consider together what you have explored, what that means for each of you and how it might influence your daily lives.
- Go back to the definitions of ‘eternal’ from Share the Word and invite the young people to write these, or just the word ‘eternal’ onto a stone.
Play the track Trust in You, Lauren Daigle on How Can It Be, during this activity.
- Invite everyone to take their stone away as a reminder of God’s promise of eternal life.

Look up this week and notice things you don’t normally see. Keep a journal about what you see and how this changes your perspective.
