A prayer to the God who makes covenants and the God who suffers.

Covenanting God,
make this your dwelling place once again
so we will come to be renewed by you and your life in us.
May your journey and our journey be joined together,
as we are covenanted in renewed relationship.

Suffering God,
take your place in the midst of us once again
so we will come to know you and your sufferings.
May your journey and our journey be joined together,
and our sufferings transformed by togetherness.
