An Advent journey for 2019

Read, pray, reflect and live your faith during Advent

Written by Gill Page, a recently retired Anglican priest, these resources are designed to encourage a daily, reflective and prayerful journey towards the celebration of Christmas.

Each sheet offers something for everyone with a selection of the following resources:

  • words
  • images
  • music to listen to
  • and more

The resources are distinct from, but closely related to, the weekly resources in ROOTS Adult & All Age issue 104 (November/December 2019); however, they could be used for every Lectionary Year C Advent.

Download the PDFs and print them or distribute them by email.

Ask people afterwards how they got on and provide an opportunity for powerful testimony of the sort that helps people link Sunday worship with their everyday discipleship.

Want to continue beyond Advent? ROOTS Adult & All Age offers Live your faith sheets for every week of the year - helping people in their spiritual journey all year round.
