September/October issue highlights from Pam

We’re delighted to bring you our new look issue for September/October – you may notice that it’s a little heavier! Each week, we now feature a double-page spread to showcase the children’s Bible reading, alongside specially commissioned artwork. We hope that this appealing layout inspires your children to want to delve into the Bible story and learn more about it.
The reshaped resource means you can see the ready-made outlines for Children, Under 5s and Youth at a glance. Tailored in response to your feedback, each age-range category now has its own discrete session plan, but please be encouraged to ‘mix and match’ according to what will work best in your context, especially if you’re catering for a wide range of ages. The weekly songs and prayers can be found on the third spread.

Your new-look website will be ready Spring 2024!
Everyone
As well as the weekly resources that take us through Creation time, in this issue you'll find inspiration for hosting a light party this autumn. And, in time for the new school year, Tim Abbott offers guidance on how to set up prayer spaces in schools.
Finally, in addition to the usual weekly support materials (activity sheets, colouring sheets, Thrive (faith at home) resource and craft templates), there’s the NEW! ‘God and hot chocolate’ drama. So, plenty of time-saving treats to help you in your important work with children and young people this season!
